AIR CABIN FILTER
The air cabin filter of the climate control system was treated with a biocide substance with highly effective action (>99,9 % at the time of the treatment) action against bacteria, preventing re-aerosolization in the vehicle cabin. The effectiveness of the treatment is affected by the conditions of use of the car, and, in any case, the filter must be replaced as indicated in the vehicle maintenance plan.
SEATS
The seat fabric was treated with a biocide substance with highly effective action (up to 95% at the time of the treatment*) against viruses and bacteria, with prolonged protection over time (**).
(*) These percentages refer to the central part of the seat (seating and backrest). Headrests are excluded from the treatment.
(**) Following laboratory tests, carried out in compliance with company’s internal specifications, in which the conditions of use of the seat were simulated, the reduction of the microbial load remains greater than 90% after 6,000 cycles of simulated use.
STEERING WHEEL
The steering wheel upholstery was treated with a biocide substance with highly effective action (> 99,9 % at the time of the treatment) against bacteria and fungi, with prolonged protection over time (*). (*) Following laboratory tests, carried out in compliance with company’s internal specifications, in which the conditions of use of the steering wheel were simulated, the reduction of the microbial load remains greater than 99.9% after 3,000 cycles of simulated use.
TRUNK
The trunk carpet was treated with a biocide substance with highly effective action (> 99,99 % at the time of the treatment) against viruses, with prolonged protection over time*. (*) Following laboratory tests, carried out in compliance with company’s internal specifications, in which the conditions of use of the treated parts were simulated, the reduction of the microbial load remains greater than 99.99% after 800 cycles of simulated use.
